A 42 year old South African died after he apparently shot himself in the head at a Shooting Range located on Pattaya Beach, only meters away from Pattaya Police Station.

The owners of the Pattaya Klang Shooting Range called Police just after 3pm on Sunday to inform them that a foreigner had shot himself in the head with a rented 9mm handgun.

Medics rushed to the scene and attended to Mr. J. O. K. from South Africa.

The incident took place at a shooting range located in central Pattaya, rather than directly on Pattaya Beach. Local authorities and media reported on the event.
