On July 12, 2016, at 4:00 AM, Pattaya Police received a report regarding an alleged assault on a tourist at the Showgirl Go Go Bar located in the LK Metro nightlife area of central Pattaya.

Outside the venue an unidentified western man was being treated by medics for wounds to both sides of his face and he was bleeding heavily from a head injury. After emergency treatment he was taken to hospital.

Report: Pattaya Police were notified that a foreign tourist had been physically attacked or involved in a violent dispute on the premises.
