Cabinet extends emergency decree in far South 3 more months

BANGKOK, Dec 17 – The Cabinet on Tuesday extended enforcement of the state of emergency decree in the violence-plagued southern border region for three more months.

Gen Yuthasak Sasiprapha, caretaker Deputy Defence Minister said after the meeting that the Cabinet approved the special law extension, the 34th, as proposed by the National Security Council (NSC).
