Family of dead conscript suspect he was beaten in a barrack

A complaint was lodged with Surat Thani provincial police on Sunday (Aug 20) by mother of a conscript who suspected that her son was beaten up in the barrack.

Mrs Malaiporn Worakitpan told the police that her son, Pvt Noppadol, 21, who was attached to the 45th Military Circle based in Vibhavadi Rangsit Military Camp in Muang district, was accompanied home by two conscripts on Saturday (Aug 19).
