Banks now sell commemorative banknotes for King’s accession anniversary

BANGKOK, 9 June 2016 (NNT) – Commercial banks across Thailand have begun selling exclusive commemorative banknotes today, marking the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 70th anniversary accession to the throne.

The Government Savings Bank, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, and the Islamic Bank of Thailand are now allowing the general public to purchase commemorative banknotes celebrating the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 70th anniversary accession to the throne.
