Former prime minister Banharn Silpa-archa dies at 83

BANGKOK, 23 April 2016 (NNT) – Banharn Silpa-archa, the 21st prime minister of Thailand, passed away this morning, according to Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital.

Mr Banharn was being treated for allergic asthma at Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital before he was declared dead at 4.42 am this morning.
