Speedboat captain saves tourists, crew from sinking boat off Krabi

PHUKET: Quick action by a speedboat captain ensured the safe recovery of eight Chinese tourists and three crew from his sinking speedboat off Koh Khai in Krabi yesterday evening (Nov 11).

The speedboat, named the Nong Hongtae, was carrying three women and five men Chinese tourists when it struck a submerged rock.
