Chiang Mai ready for the annual Yi Peng Festival

BANGKOK, 23 October 2014 (NNT) – The city of Chiang Mai is ready to host its annual Yi Peng Festival, which is scheduled to take place in early November.

According to Deputy Mayor of Chiang Mai Municipality Soonthorn Yamsiri, state and private agencies in the city have been working together mapping out a plan for the 2014 Yi Peng Festival, or the Lantern Festival; to be held during November 1 and 7.
