BANGKOK, 6 June 2014 (NNT) – The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has resolved to withdraw the curfew in four additional areas frequented by tourists after viewing that the local situation is peaceful.

The NCPO has released an announcement to cancel the curfew in Cha-am district of Phetchaburi province, Hua Hin district of Prachuap Khiri Khan province, Krabi province and Phang Nga province. The decision was made based on the assessment that the atmosphere in those areas was calm and there was no tendency for political violence to occur.
