TAK, 24 April 2014 (NNT) – An official opening ceremony was held today for a new solar power plant in Sam Ngao District in Tak Province.

The plant was built in order to meet energy needs, to reduce money spent on imported fuel from overseas, and because solar energy is considered to be clean energy which has no effect on the environment.
