Bangkok enforces Security Act to handle anti-government protesters

BANGKOK, Oct 9 – The Thai Cabinet today imposed the Internal Security Act (ISA) in three government-critical districts of Bangkok to maintain law and order during the rally of an anti-government movement.

The Cabinet resolution came as the People’s Army against the Thaksin Regime moved from their months-long rally site in Lumpini Park to Chamai Maruchet Bridge near Government House on Monday. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is scheduled to visit Thailand officially on Friday.
