Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit in higher spirits, improved health

BANGKOK, Aug 23 – Their Majesties the King and Queen are in better health after residing at Klai Kangwon Palace in the seaside resort town of Hua Hin for the past three weeks, a senior medical officer said today.

Clinical Prof Udom Kachintorn, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, said His Majesty the King has been in jovial spirits and has gained strength. He said the treatment was a significant non-medicinal treatment suitable for chronic illness among the elderly.
