Thai Army warns reds not to rally Tuesday

Supporters of the red-shirt movement will not be allowed to gather when United Nations secretary-general Ban Ki-moon visits Bangkok on Tuesday, national army chief Prayuth Chan-ocha said.

If the red-shirts wanted to submit a letter asking the UN to look into the deaths of 91 people during the anti-government protests in April and May this year, they can send a representative to hand it over, Gen Prayuth said before travelling to Malaysia to attend a meeting of Asean army commanders on Monday.
