BANGKOK, 5 January 2014 (NNT) – The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) will be commencing the auction of 4G licenses for mobile carriers this year, while gearing up on the user registration of pre-paid mobile and WIFI services.
The NBTC Secretary-General Takorn Tantasith has revealed that the NBTC will be prioritizing on the auction of four 4G service licenses on 1800 and 900 megahertz frequencies to accommodate the increase in demand and the advancement of technology.
