BANGKOK, Jan 6 – Thailand’s Centre for the Administration of Peace and Order (CAPO) today warned the anti-government protesters that their planned move for a “Bangkok Shutdown” could be considered as violating the law.
Caretaker Justice Minister Chaikasem Nitisiri responded in a nationally televised address after the announcement of anti-government protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban that the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) would cut electricity and water supplies to all government offices and block roads to obstruct the public from going to work from January 13 onwards.
