Six Lisu tribesmen nabbed with 34 kg of heroin

BANGKOK, Aug 5 – Six Lisu tribesmen were arrested with 34 kg of heroin in compressed packages, suspected to be delivered to an agent in Malaysia, a senior drug suppression official said today.

Pongsapat Pongcharoen, secretary general of the Office of Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), said the heroin, compressed in 98 packs, was found in two suitcases.
