At least 40 people were injured after a passenger bus overturned in the Pattaya area on Tuesday, February 18th, during heavy rainfall. The bus, traveling from Bangkok to Pattaya Bus Terminal, was involved in the accident near a U-turn on the No. 36 Road (Pattaya-Rayong Bypass Road).

According to the bus driver, a sedan abruptly crossed in front of the bus, forcing him to swerve to avoid a collision. However, due to the slippery road conditions caused by the rain, he lost control of the vehicle, leading to the bus overturning.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene promptly, providing assistance to the injured passengers, who were then transported to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported.
