Air traffic controllers at the airport quickly alerted ground staff to prepare for an emergency landing, prompting the rapid arrival of more than 40 ambulances from Rayong and Chonburi. Despite the urgent response, the aircraft landed safely at 1:05 a.m. after its landing gear fully deployed, causing a slight skid off the runway.
U-Tapao Airport Eyes Direct Flights from India to Lure Tourists
The aircraft remained at U-Tapao airport for approximately one hour for maintenance and refueling before resuming travel to its destination.
