All the members of BLACKPINK will stay together! The k-pop girlband signed a renewal contract with their agency, YG Entertainment, to continue working on group activities with artists Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa, including tours and albums. The company shared the announcement on 6 December, via a Korean media outlet and according to Korean time. In it, they expressed their happiness for the agreement with the members of the group.

After months of speculation about a possible departure of the k-pop singers from their agency, YG Entertainment, a contract renewal was finally announced to the delight of the BLINKs as a Christmas present. In this regard, there were rumours that the girlband members may seek individual engagements with other agencies.

The BLACKPINK members have renewed their contract with YG Entertainment; however, as of yet, it was not revealed for how many years the agreement will be extended. The agency’s general producer Yang Hyun Seok said in an interview that they will continue to work with the girlband under “deep trust”.
“We are happy to continue our relationship with BLACKPINK. BLACKPINK will continue to do their best to shine even brighter in the global music market as artists who represent not only our agency but also k-pop and we send our unwavering support and faith in their future steps,” he added.
