Human rights lawyer Anon Nampa jailed for lese majeste

A Thai Criminal Court jailed a human rights lawyer for four years today (Tuesday) for insulting the monarchy.

Anti-government protest leaders acknowledge lese-majeste charges

Anon Nampa, 39, was convicted under the country’s controversial lèse majesté laws over a speech he made during a demonstration in Bangkok in 2020.
