Wat Hua Lamphong – Rama IV Road, Bangkok

Wat Hua Lamphong (วัดหัวลำโพง) is a third class Royal Buddhist temple, located on Rama IV Road, Bangkok.

The temple hosts several shrines dedicated to important Thai figures, such as King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), and the Hindu god Ganesha, also present in many other Thai temples.

Wat Hua Lamphong was renovated in 1996 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the coronation of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX).

As mentioned before, the temple is located on Rama IV Road, junction with Silom Road, Surawong Road and Si Phraya Road. How to get it: Bangkok metro Sam Yan Station, or Hua Lamphong railway station — placed just 1 kilometer from this temple.

Address: Si Phraya, Bang Rak, จังหวัด กรุงเทพมหานคร, Bangkok 10500, Thailand.
