Loha Prasat (โลหะปราสาท) in the grounds of Wat Ratchanaddaram (วัดราชนัดดาราม) also called Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan, is a impressive Buddhist temple of uncommon architecture in Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok, near Khao San Road.
This majestic temple is also known as “The Metal Castle” because its tall structure with 37 metal spires, symbolizing the 37 virtues of enlightenment.
In 2005 the temple was submitted to UNESCO for consideration as a World Heritage Site.
Another magnificent temple next to Loha Prasat is the famous Wat Saket (The Golden Mount)
