Thick smoke visible for miles as medical-glove factory burns

A major fire was still burning on Sunday afternoon at a factory that manufactures disposable gloves used for medical examinations and procedures, in Trang’s Kan Trang district.

The blaze began at 5am at the country’s largest rubber glove-manufacturing factory as hundreds of shift workers fled the scene in panic.
