BANGKOK, 29th January 2018 (NNT)-The Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) has cited the need for Thailand to find financial support to achieve its carbon emission reduction goal after the U.S. withdrew from the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC).
ONEP Secretary-General Raweean Phuridej said during a seminar on the results of the 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 23) to the UNFCC that greenhouse gas reduction funding for developing nations has declined by 100,000 US dollars after the American withdrawal last year.
