Chinese tourist drowns in Chiang Mai creek

A Chinese tourist drowned in a downpour-triggered flash flood at Ban Huai Sathan (Moo1) in Chiang Mai’s Mae Taeng district on Tuesday.

The incident occurred when an 11-strong Chinese tour group suddenly found themselves caught in floodwaters.
