Thailand’s tallest building, the MahaNakhon, is at the centre of a sky-high row after claims the structure, designed by a German architect, breaches Thai labour laws.
Laws prohibiting foreign architects from working in Thailand may be outdated, architects say, after the controversy erupted as the building was officially opened on Monday night.
