Google unveils In Apps feature for searching across Android apps

PanARMENIAN.Net – Google’s introducing a new feature that lets users search for content inside the apps on their Android phone through a single search box, VentureBeat reports.

Aptly titled In Apps, the new search mode is designed to build a bridge across all your various services — not just Google — to make finding stuff easier. It’s basically “Google Search” but built for the smaller microcosm that is your smartphone.

For now, the feature is limited to a handful of apps, but it’s clear how useful this feature will prove over time when more third-party services are connected.
