A Japanese lawyer, wanted for a Bt4 billion stock fraud case in his home country nearly a decade ago, was arrested in Bangkok’s Chaeng Wattana area on Wednesday, while a Slovakian former hospital executive who was wanted for a Bt10.9 million embezzlement case back home was nabbed in Surat Thani’s Koh Samui.
Immigration Police Thursday announced the arrest of fugitive lawyer Yasuo Tsubak, 27, who was accused of conspiring with others in stock fraud that caused damages worth 12 million yen (about Bt4 billion) in 2007.
