Taxi driver returns B1.4m to passenger

A taxi driver has returned a wallet containing cash and pearl ornaments worth almost 1.4 million baht to a German passenger at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport Friday.

Kraisorn Thaponthan, the 39-year-old driver, went to the airport’s police station with the black wallet containing US dollars worth about 10,000 baht, a pearl necklace and a pearl ring worth altogether US$40,000 or about 1.39 million baht.
