A Thung Song Hong police officer, who was found dead in an apparent suicide last month, was under pressure from his station’s boss over conflicting views regarding the handling of 204 cars seized from an anti-car theft raid in Laksi in November last year, according to a senior prosecutor who knew him.
The vehicles were confiscated during the operation at IT Square shopping mall on Nov 28. Police said 182 of the cars were under auto leasing contracts.
