Suthep asks public to push Senate for interim PM

BANGKOK, May 13 – Anti-government leader Suthep Thaugsuban on Tuesday has called for all parties to urge Senate speaker-elect Surachai Liengboonlertchai and senators to push for the interim prime minister and government as soon as possible.

People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) secretary-general Suthep announced the second PDRC statement in the afternoon at the Santi Maitree building in the compound of Government House together with other PDRC leaders Satit Wongnongtoey, Banjerd Singkaneti, Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Jermsak Pinthong as well as the group’s spokesman Akanat Promphan.
