Fake Immigration Officer Arrested in Koh Lan

A man impersonating an Immigration Officer was arrested on Koh Larn yesterday as he tried to extort cash from illegal immigrants.

A team of genuine officers were sent to the island and collared Khun Padungiet. His house was found to contain a selection of Police uniforms and two firearms, which are believed to have been stolen from a gun range on the island.
