Thai Airways International clarified Sunday that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra cancelled her visit to South Africa about a month ago.
In LINE message, the airline said a Thai delegation led by Yingluck was planned in June at the invitation of South African government. However, in October, South Africa suggested the visit be postponed due to local elections and the tickets, originally booked for the December 1 travelling, was accordingly cancelled.
