Thailand protests cause 70 billion baht in damages: Pheu Thai party

Pheu Thai party claimed that the anti-government protests have, so far, caused damages to the economy estimated at about 70 billion baht and the damages will continue to rise if the protests are not called off.

Former energy minister and a member of the Pheu Thai party’s economic team Mr Pichai Naripthaphan said Thursday that tourism industry was the hardest hit by the protests.
