Four villagers killed in Pattani car hijacking

PATTANI, Dec 4 – Four people were slain in violence-plagued Pattani province after a group of gunmen hijacked their pick-up truck in Nong Chik district on Tuesday night, according to police.

Seven persons left their rented house in the Pattani provincial seat in their pickup truck to look for salted crabs, six gunmen riding three motorcycles approached them and attacked. Four people were killed immediately.
