BANGKOK, Nov 2 – Rural people poured into Bangkok to join protests today as demonstrators flowed into their respective city halls in a number of provinces in a nationwide show of force against the Amnesty Bill.
Piya Utayo, spokesman of the Centre for the Administration of Peace and Order (CAPO), said more people arrived in the capital from different provinces while 44 companies of police officers have been assigned to maintain public order at and around rally sites.
