Rama VIII Bridge to be sealed off for repairs on September 21

BANGKOK, 16 September 2013 (NNT) – The Traffic Police Division has announced that the Rama VIII Bridge in Bangkok will be closed to traffic this weekend in a bid to carry out repairs.

Police warned commuters to avoid the Rama VIII Bridge from 11PM of September 21 to 5AM of September 22. All inbound and outbound lanes will be sealed off while officials from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Public Works Department inspect the bridge.
