BANGKOK, 16 June 2013 (NNT) – The Prime Minister has affirmed there will not be a cabinet reshuffle at the moment. She has also said no agreement has been reached with the BRN so far.
According to Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, she does not know whether the situation in the Deep South will improve as no agreement has been made between the government and the Barisan Revolusi Nasional, or the BRN; adding that the 5-point demand proposed by the BRN has not been accepted by the Thai government, as all conditions will have to abide by laws and regulations. The latest round of talks between the government and the BRN was held on June 13th in Malaysia, during which both parties agreed to tone down violence during the Ramadan month.
