BANGKOK, 7 May 2013 (NNT) – Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra admits she is worried about the baht appreciation and asks all relevant units to update the currency situation to the Cabinet every week.
PM Yingluck said after a Cabinet meeting this week that Deputy PM and Finance Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong had informed the Cabinet of the baht situation. The Cabinet then expressed concerns over solutions to the currency problem and suggested that monetary and fiscal policies should be implemented at the same time to fix the baht situation.
