KRABI, May 25— Krabi marine police have been trying to rescue about 100 tourists stranded on Koh Hong which was battered by strong winds and high waves while some 60 long-tailed boats were hit by the heavy seas.
Pol Lt Col Chaiyasit Khancharoen of the Krabi Marine Police urged officials to send a patrol boat to retrieve and assist some 100 tourists on Koh Hong in the provincial seat after being informed in the afternoon that strong winds and high waves hit around 10 tourist boats.
