YALA, March 27 – Six defence volunteers were wounded as they were attacked by insurgents in this restive southern province on the eve of first peace dialogue between the Thai government and Muslim insurgent groups set to begin tomorrow.
The government volunteers were patrolling Krongpinang district by car when an unknown number of assailants detonated a roadside bomb and fire on them.
