BANGKOK, 29 September 2012 (NNT) – Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, in a pre-recorded interview for the program “Yingluck Government Meets the People” broadcast on Channel 11 this morning, provided a summary of her visit to the United States to attend the UN General Assembly in New York. The prime minister revealed that she had executed up to 20 duties during this visit which had certainly made her feel a little tired.
The Prime Minister said that at the UN General Assembly, she explained various government policies, as well as cooperation agreements made with other countries. Apart from the UN meetings, Ms. Yingluck had a discussion with the leader of Myanmar regarding the development of the Dawei deep sea port. She was also taken on a tour to observe the city planning of New York and hoped to adapt the plan for use in Bangkok and other provinces.
