BANGKOK, March 14 – The seasonal haze enveloping Thailand’s northern provinces is gradually improving — except for Lampang and Nan — as the current particulate dust level is within acceptable safety standards, according to the Pollution Control Department.
The pollution specialist agency reported that air quality inspection on Wednesday showed that less than 10 micron dust particles during the past 24 hours measured between 35.0-98.9 microgrammes per cubic metre on average, which was lower than the maximum safety standard level of 120 microgrammes per cubic metre.
