Thailand Floods: Nava Nakorn totally inundated

All of Nava Nakorn Industrial Estate is swamped, forcing workers and nearby residents to flee the area.

Government flood relief centre spokesman Wim Rungwattanajinda confirmed last night that 100% of the estate area has been inundated.

He said the runoff from the estate was heading downstream and there were three high risk areas which needed to be closely monitored: White House housing estate, 8-Rai community and Thammasat University’s Rangsit campus.
