Facebook prevents suicide attempt by wife of foreigner in Pattaya

Facebook appears to have saved the life of a Thai Woman who posted on there that she intended to end her life.

A friend spotted the message on the social networking site and immediately alerted the Police to attend the woman’s apartment located in Soi 18 off the Naklua Road. Rescue Services were also sent and it took officials more than 30 minutes to gain forced entry to the apartment.
