Hong Kong taxis ranked among world’s best

Although I have mixed feelings about Hong Kong taxis, tourists seem impressed, a survey by hotels.com involving 5,000 passengers from 23 countries found out.

Hong Kong taxis joined the top 10 ranking among world’s best taxis; London and New York cabs were top-rated globally for the past four years.

While I have boarded cabs that don’t smell anywhere pleasant, tourists have marveled on their cleanliness on top of cabbies’ know-how of the city. And it’s not only the good impression they are getting from passengers that makes them smile. Cab drivers are now earning more.
