5 Dead in Chiang Mai as Flood Woes Continue

The flood crisis in many provinces remains critical particularly in Chiang Mai, where five missing locals have been found dead from ravaging flash flood torrents that surged through certain parts of the province.

Last night, pounding torrential rain triggered surging flash floods from a nearby creek which ravaged Muang Guy Village in Chiang Mai’s Mae Tang District.

Four homes were completely destroyed and five villagers from the same family, who were reported missing, have been found dead by rescue officials.
