Abhisit to visit North on political campaigns

BANGKOK, 1 June 2011 (NNT) – Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva and his team are scheduled to visit northern provinces, starting on Wednesday in Phayao, for their political campaigns.

Prime Minister’s Office Minister and Democrat key member Satit Wonghnongtaey stated that Mr Abhisit will this evening fly to Chiang Rai, and then travel by car to Phayao, the first stop in his election campaign in the North.

Thereafter, the prime minister is scheduled to stay overnight in Pasang district, Lamphun province, in order to monitor the progress of the community land title deed project launched under his government as part of the land reform attempt.
