Inebriated Russian parks in the middle of Pattaya Highway

Mr Radislav Obernikhin, a 41-year-old Russian national, was woken from his slumbers on the back seat of his pickup just after 3:30 on Thursday morning by police volunteers.

The reason for the interest of the patrolling volunteers was that the pickup was parked in the middle of Highway 7 and was potentially a traffic hazard. Mr Obernikhin, who was practically naked, told the volunteers he had spent the evening drinking with friends and admitted to being somewhat intoxicated.
