Jakarta – A small bomb went off Friday while being disposed of by police near the Indonesian capital, but no one was injured, police said.
The blast came two days after a book bomb posted to liberal Muslim activist Ulil Abshar Abdalla, exploded in Jakarta as officers were trying to defuse it, injuring four people.
Also Wednesday, mail bombs were sent to the head of the police anti-narcotic agency, a rock musician and a politician, police said, but did not explode.
